Training delivery options face-to-face or virtual?
2020 was a challenging year for all across Australia and the world. However, COVID-19 provided us with the opportunity to look at the way we do things, including the way we offer training for our clients. Premium Health offer real flexibility, in both the range of courses offered and delivery methods. Did you know that for many of our courses we offer quality delivery options? Scroll down to find out the benefits.

There are many pros and cons for face-to-face and live virtual classroom training.
Face-to-Face Training:
• Training led by health professional trainer – nurse or paramedic – with lived experience
• Training held in the workplace or another preferred venue
• Premium Health COVID safe training (as health professional we understand infection control measures required during training) with our resources or equipment
• Live demonstration or video demonstration
• Provides the opportunity for participants to connect in a single group environment and share experiences
• Provides opportunity for skills assessment face to face
• Trainer in the room for individual and personal discussion
Live Virtual Classroom Training:
• Training led by health professional trainer – nurse or paramedic – with lived experience
• Live demonstration or video demonstration
• Minimises the need for staff travel to one location
• Minimises the need for groups of people to congregate in a single room for extended periods
• Reduced travel costs for metro and regional areas – participants and trainer do not need to travel to the training venue
• Flexibility to include staff from multiple locations, providing connection and shared experience for staff who may not often benefit from this interaction
• If training from multiple locations, live virtual classroom training reduces the need to clean the environment and social distancing
• Reduced costs through the maximisation or participant numbers in each session – participants from multiple locations or multiple states can join
• For the aged and disability sector – minimising external exposure for participants and their clients
