Premium Health is pleased to facilitate Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses, as authored by Mental Health First Aid Australia, delivered by licensed Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructors. The Blended MHFA Community Course has been adapted from the Standard Mental Health First Aid Course for adults.
In this informative and practical course, you will learn about the signs and symptoms of common and disabling mental health (psychological safety) problems in adults, how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and how to provide mental health first aid in a crisis situation using a practical, evidence-based action plan.
Mental health first aid skills learnt by participants in this course can be applied in any setting. Course content includes case-studies, videos and resources tailored to the learning needs of community/public course participants.

Delivery Mode
Designed for increased flexibility, this Mental Health First Aid course is delivered in a blended mode. This includes a combination of online (eLearning) and an Instructor-led component which can be delivered either via face-to-face or via an online workshop.
- 4 hours face-to-face training and assessment and online e-Learning
- 2 x 2 hours and 30 minutes live virtual classroom training and assessment and online e-Learning
Qualification Issued
Participants will be issued a certificate directly from Mental Health First Aid Australia.

The Blended MHFA Community Course is designed for the general public with conversations and scenarios for the community (assisting friends, family and extended community networks). This course is suitable to anybody in the community that is seeking to undertake first aid training to be able to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health (psychological safety) problem or mental health (psychological safety) crisis until appropriate professional help is received.
