Blood Pressure Recording

Overview/Content
This short course addresses some of the core principles of blood pressure and its measurement. Participants will learn to correctly undertake and record blood pressure measurement.

Learning Objectives
  • Complete a blood pressure measurement using a digital automated device
  • Record the details of the blood pressure reading
  • Using a scenario, interpret and respond to an abnormal reading

To gain a Statement of Competence for this program students must satisfactorily complete a knowledge and practical assessment.
