This program provides support workers in an interactive live virtual classroom with one of experienced our nurse educators the essential knowledge to understand some medicines and ways in which they can be taken. The program also includes general side effects of common medications and how to manage medication incidents. Support workers will learn how to safely assist clients to use a dose administration aid (DAA), discuss and problem-solve medication concerns, issues and workplace medication errors including documenting a medication incident.
