Introducing NEW NDIS Microcredentials
An industry first certification framework for HISS training exclusive to Premium Health.

Introducing NEW NDIS Microcredentials
“The education landscape is changing with growing demand for shorter-form courses that enable workers to rapidly upskill”* This demand is evident in the disability sector as providers seek to provide their workforce with the knowledge and skills to meet the needs of individual clients/NDIS participants living with high intensity support needs. With over 25 years’ RTO experience, Premium Health is pleased to introduce our new microcredential certification framework for high intensity support skills training.
This now means that when you undertake a training course across any of our High Intensity Support Skills courses your support worker(s) at the conclusion of their training will receive a Statement of Competence and digital micro-credential badge. This will show that the support worker has successfully completed an assessment of specified knowledge and skills.
A Statement of Competence and digital microcredential badge will be awarded where an individual has successfully completed an assessment of specified knowledge and skills for the following courses:
- Assisting Clients with Medication
- Advanced People Manual Handling
- Complex Bowel Care – Enema and Suppository Administration
- Complex Bowel Care – Ostomy and Stoma
- Complex Wound Care Support
- Dysphagia Support
- Enteral Feeding Support (PEG/PEJ Tubes)
- Epilepsy and Seizure Support
- Urinary Catheter Support (IDC and SPC)
- Diabetes Support
Certificates and microcredentials are valid for 12 months.
Auditors recommend Premium Health training, so find out how you can access this exclusive and industry first digital microcredential for your support staff.
