International Women’s Day 2026
This International Women’s Day, Premium Health celebrates the strength, resilience, and achievements of women everywhere.
We believe education is empowerment — and empowerment begins with access to meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and lead. Practical education equips women to navigate challenges, make informed decisions, and advocate for themselves and others. It strengthens leadership by fostering resilience and critical thinking, fuels ambition by opening new pathways for career progression, and contributes to safer, more supportive environments where collaboration and respect thrive.
When women feel capable and confident, workplaces become stronger, communities become more connected, and outcomes improve for everyone. Education is more than training — it is a catalyst for long-term impact, equality, and meaningful change.
Today, we honour the impact women make every day and reaffirm our commitment to fostering opportunity, championing growth, and supporting pathways to leadership through education and training. Because when women are empowered with knowledge and skills, entire communities thrive.

A message from our Chief Executive Officer, Natalie Donohoe: Give to Gain
This International Women’s Day reminds us that we can all give our support to gain advancement for women and girls.
Giving support means calling out stereotypes, challenging bias, celebrating women’s success, and sharing our knowledge and encouragement with others.
When we do this, everyone gains – stronger teams, better outcomes and healthier communities.
I’m proud to lead Premium Health, a women-led organisation and to work alongside incredible women and supportive allies every day.
–Natalie Donohoe, CEO
A message from our Founder, Phillipa Wilson: Celebrating Women, Inspiring Change
International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate women whilst recognising that strengthening support for women’s rights and their full participation in the economy, leadership, community and everyday life remains an ongoing commitment.
I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by strong female role models. With four older sister and a resilient mother raising seven children, I learned early the value of independence, equality and support. Three of my sisters were nurses, and their dedication to care provided strong and inspiring role models for me.
Premium Health was established during a pivotal time in my life. At 30, I was a newly divorced single mother, working part-time in a hospital system that felt increasingly inflexible and uncertain. Nursing roles were changing, redundancies were common and despite being a predominately female workforce, the system offered little flexibility, minimal support for carers and limited opportunity for balance. I recognised the need for greater autonomy – both professionally and personally.
My priority was clear – I wanted to be a present mum. To do that, I needed independence, flexibility and control over my future. Taking a redundancy package was a leap of faith. I returned to study, and within six months, Premium Health was born.
The early days were built from my home office, between school drop-offs, canteen volunteering, reading sessions and weekend sport. As Premium Health grew, so did my sense of purpose. Financial independence followed, along with the opportunity to build something I deeply believed in.
For nearly two decades, we were a proudly 100% nurse-led, female-led organisation. We intentionally created a workplace grounded in inclusivity, professional development, fair pay and flexible work arrangement – the very things I once struggled to find.
Last year, women made up 79% of our workforce and Premium Health continues to be led by women who are passionate, skilled and courageous. That legacy of sisterhood remains one of our greatest strengths.
To the women I grew up with, the colleagues who have walked beside me, and the team who continue to hold both me and Premium Health accountable – thank you. Your strength, integrity and bravery inspire me every day.
Here’s to continuing the journey, together.
–Pip Wilson, Founder & Director.
