This program is designed specifically for support workers to develop the essential knowledge and skills to assist clients to manage their urinary elimination needs via a catheter or external drainage device. Participants will practice and demonstrate using infection control guidelines, the management of different types of catheters and external drainage devices and discuss potential complications.
